  • STEP ONE Request Information

    Fill out a short information request form. You will receive a viewbook and information about Woodberry Forest School in your mailbox, as well as additional videos and digital information about the school.
  • STEP TWO Schedule a Campus Visit

    Overnight visits are offered Thursday, Friday, and Sunday evenings.

    This is a chance for the admission team to get
    to know you better, and for you to ask questions
    about the school. Just relax and be yourself.

  • STEP THREE Start Your Application

    Fill our the online application or complete the SAO.

    Schedule a campus visit and interview.
    Complete the required standardized test by registering at Applicants for grades 9 and 10 must take the SSAT. Applicants for grade 11 may submit PSAT scores. International applicants whose primary language is not English must submit a TOEFL test score.

    Submit recommendations from your English teacher, math teacher, and school counselor or head of school.

    Submit transcripts from 2015–16, 2016–17, and the first marking period of 2017 -18.

    What happens after I complete my application?
    You will be able to check the status of your application and whether we have received your  supplemental materials in your electronic account. 

    You will be notified of an admissions decision on March 10. Applications submitted after the first-round deadline of January 15 will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning in April.

    If you are accepted to Woodberry Forest, we ask that you let us know if you intend to enroll by April 10.
