Artists' Group Shows Work in Baker Gallery

In September and October, Woodberry Forest School features Spaces & Places, the third annual exhibition of paintings and photographs by the Firnew Farm Artists' Circle in the Baker Gallery of the Walker Fine Arts Center. The large group show features works in a variety of mediums by over twenty area artists.

The Firnew Farm artists have been working together and exhibiting their art for more than ten years. The group strives to support art education in local schools through scholarships and mentoring, capture in their art the beauty of the Blue Ridge foothills, and support the artistic growth of its members.

The Upper Walker Gallery features dramatic black and white photos of WFS athletes by Firnew artist and photographer John Berry.
