Mr. Tysinger, who works with fundraising and planned giving at Woodberry Forest, was associate headmaster at Stuart Hall School in Staunton and executive director of Boys’ Home, Inc. in Covington, Virginia, before returning to Woodberry, where he had earlier been a student, history teacher, coach, and Director of Alumni and Parent Programs. Mr. Tysinger assists with Bengal football and varsity baseball, and he works with the Rod and Gun Club. He and his wife, Dottie, parents of Andy ’86 and Mike ’88, live in the Ruffin House.
