Even though he bogied his final hole, Will Strickler '04 received his PGA tour card Monday, December 6, 2010. He was the last of 25 qualifiers to receive his card and will be eligible to play in about 20 PGA Tour events next year starting in Hawaii. Will shot (-9) over six rounds at Orange County National Golf Center & Lodge in Winter Garden, Florida.

At Woodberry Forest School, Will was a two-time All Prep golfer. He won the Prep League Tournament as a junior, and was captain during his senior year. He won a scholarship to the University of Florida, where he was captain his senior year and helped the Gators to the NCAA Finals.

During the last two years, Will has been playing events on the Canadian Tour and the Nationwide Tour.

Congratulations to Will on this great accomplishment!
