Senior Prefect and Officers Elected

Chris Oldham ’17 has been elected by his fellow prefects to serve as Woodberry Forest School's senior prefect for the 2016-2017 school year. He is joined by Lindell Stone ’17 as deputy senior prefect and Griffin McDaniel ’17 as scribe.

The prefect board spent the week of August 8 - 12, 2016, on a retreat in Florissant Colorado. They participated in outdoor adventure, discussion, and role-play during a week culminated by the election of officers. Headmaster Byron Hulsey ’86, Assistant Headmaster and Dean of Students Joe Coleman ’79, and Assistant Dean of Students Henry Heil accompanied the student leaders and helped prepare them for their work in the upcoming year. Woodberry's eighteen prefects have responsibility for supervising dormitories as well as for upholding the school's honor system.
