Government Students Visit Richmond

Three sections of Dr. Fred Jordan's government course visited the Virginia State Capitol on February 3, 2016, at the invitation of Secretary of Health and Human Services William Hazel ’74. The boys watched committees of the House of Delegates and Senate mark up bills, met with Dr. Hazel in the governor's cabinet room to learn about the role of cabinet officers and the policy issues currently before the Virginia legislature, and watched the full House of Delegates at work from the visitor's gallery.
