Students Enjoy Scots History and Culture

Eight Woodberry students, along with eight girls from other schools, returned recently from their journey across the pond with Woodberry in Scotland. In its nineteenth year, the coed study-abroad program, led by Tanita and Steve Stancill ’74, takes students on a three-week journey of Scotland that began on June 9, 2015.

On the itinerary this year were lessons on Scots history and culture; time to mingle with local people; visits to castles, abbeys, and museums; golf outings; hikes; and cruises.
