Art Exhibition to Close with Reception

Currently on view and running through May 3, 2015, the Baker Gallery at Woodberry Forest School is featuring WORKS, a retrospective of the paintings by Russ Warren. The artist was a professor of art at Davidson College from 1978 through 2008. In the 1980s, Warren had solo shows at the Phyllis Kind Gallery in New York and Chicago, and his work was included in many notable group shows, including the Whitney Biennial (1981) and the Venice Biennale (1984). Currently, he lives and works in Charlottesville, VA. This traveling exhibition surveys over four decades of his art.

There will be a reception for the artist on Sunday, May 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. The reception is free and open to the public.
