Fourth Form Expedition Photos Now Online

Photos from this fall's Fourth Form Expedition, held October 11-14, 2014, at Eagle's Landing in New Castle, Virginia, are now posted on the Woodberry Forest School Photo Album.

It was a time of fun and challenge for the class, who faced nearly unrelenting rainy weather as they backpacked, cooked their own food, camped out, and enjoyed a range of activities. Groups went canoeing, rock climbing, caving, ziplining, and participated in games and team-building activities. "I can say without a doubt these students handled themselves with true toughness and grit and have learned some valuable and authentic lessons," said Nolan LaVoie, Woodberry's director of outdoor education and leadership development. He planned the trip, and, along with teachers Jeff Davidhizar, Jamison Monahan, and David Budlong, accompanied the students on the adventure.
